Some NPCs exchange items instead of selling them: bring what they ask, get something else in return. It is the way to turn raw logs and ores into the strips and bars that crafting recipes use, and to spend Fairy Coins. In development

How it works
Talk to the NPC, pick an exchange, and the server checks that you stand close enough, have the items and have room in your bag. The swap happens in one go: you never lose items halfway.
